CyberWoLfman's Web Asylum: IMHO
For years, the world's biggest polluter has been the United States. At a G8 summit in 2008, George W. Bush made a joke about it, saying ?Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter.? Something tells me that the United States government isn't taking pollution seriously. When will they? Maybe only after all the drinking water's been polluted and people can't breath without air tanks? It's bad enough that the government has allowed manufacturers to sell them toxic substances like fluoride and convince them that it's good for people to drink, when several Nobel Prize winners have repeatedly said that it's not, but, there's other things going on as well.
In a radio interview heard on the radio back on April 26th, 2010, someone stated that the factory farms in one state produced more manure than all the soil in that state could absorb, and that the farms were spraying it onto crops, and pouring it into other sources of water, where it flows over and into rivers and other drinking water sources.
According to the Liberator OnLine, back in the 1990's, the biggest polluter (I guess in the U.S.) is the U.S. military. They declare sovereign immunity and refuse to follow EPA directives. The government doesn't have to follow the laws it lays down for the rest of us. They say they're concerned about the environment, yet the government itself is the biggest polluter. Can you say hypocrite?
Some sources are now saying that China is about to pass up the USA as the world's biggest polluter. It's only a matter of time before other countries produce as much pollution as the United States.
How long before planet Earth can no longer support life?
